The Special Sleep Association (SSA) today announced it is launching the first mattress / bedding industry "Green Initiative". This is a step by step method designed to identify, define and set standards for mattress manufacturers and retailers 'green' label for natural sleep products such as mattresses, springs and pillows. The ultimate objective is to generate a certification program based on existing legitimate
conditions and specific standards for mattresses and bedding. This initiative is the first time a group of American domestic mattress industry has created a standard.
